1619 Project : Online Resources

A Note About Online Resources

While the Godine Library's physical collections are particularly strong, we also have valuable digital collections that sometimes get overlooked.

This page includes a small selection of our ebooks related to racism and the black experience. Please note that some of these books have single user licenses, meaning only one person can use the book at a time. The reason for this is that publishers are not making multi-user licenses available to libraries. Unfortunately this is the case for some of the most popular titles like How to be an Antiracist and White Fragility. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please get in touch if

  • you need help finding a book not listed here.
  • you'd like us to purchase a book to add to our collection
  • or if you have any technical difficulties using our online resources.

You can find us at library@massart.edu.
